Valley View Motel

This place has a spectacular view. My kids picked and ate all of their strawberries out of the garden beds! The owners are so warm and welcoming, we felt completely at home. We stayed 5 nights and needed nothing. They have thought of everything. It's our second visit to this motel, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. SO beautiful!

This venue was perfect for our family reunion. We all Booked Cabins and were thoroughly thrilled With the location. Beautiful view. Owners are so sweet And accommodating. The cabin was newly renovated and so cute. The gathering spot grounds were beautiful. Cook centre in central location where we could all Cook together was spectacular! Pet Friendly and the welcome baskets for Pets Were a Lovely touch. We so enjoyed our stay there and will definitely book again. Thank you for accommodating this crazy bunch.

We stay one night. Super friendly and gracious reception. Grounds are very well kept and our room was recently renovated. Very clean with everything we needed. Room was comfortable and decorated in a warm comforting relaxing style. No grubby corners or disgusting bathroom in this place. We had our small service dog, which was welcome with a nice place to walk. Hosts seem to be environmental concious and community oriented. They obviously care that you have a good stay. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Our Okanagan nature club booked in for a three night stay for the second successive year. The property is absolutely wonderful. Cabins are impeccably cared for and so comfy. Gillian, Steve and team are the very best people. So kind, welcoming, generous and fun. Wonderful memories are made here. Thank you Gillian for helping to make ours!!

This is a really wonderful place to stay. The accommodations are beautifully renovated and self-contained cabins and certainly not a typical "motel." We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with a kitchenette and it was exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. The setting is quiet, away from main road traffic and with beautiful views of the valley. Our host, Jill, was happy to provide us with good recommendations for places to eat and places to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to doing so again.

Me and my husband stayed here for a night during our motorcycle trip and it was glorious. Jill and Steven the owners are so friendly and you can tell everything about this place was intentional and thoughtful for the guests. Best hotel bed I have ever slept in. It’s quiet and cute and was our favourite place all through the Kootenay’s.

Was a nice treat to return to Valley View Motel yesterday. We were not disappointed. It's such a cozy homey feeling, and the owners are fantastic. So pleasant and kind. The place is meticulously clean. Love it here.

Absolutely top notch, all the little things are thought of. We were traveling on bike and had to pack light and everything we needed was there. The rooms were clean, everything was well organized. Staff were fantastic and even improved things while we were there.

We’ve stayed at the Valley View twice now, and both times were excellent. It’s always a pleasure seeing Gill and/Tracy upon arrival, the cabins are well-equipped, spacious and most importantly, clean. The extra touches like welcome baskets for pets, a treasure from the treasure chest for kids, and the outdoor space make this the only place we choose when staying in Creston.

The love that has gone into updating the Valley View creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere! From the well thought out room interiors (cozy as heck beds, yoga mats in your room, little love hearts traced onto your throw blanket - they've even partnered up with a local candle maker to provide the property with a signature candle!), to the ambient group spaces like their fire pit, there is a welcoming hospitality at play. The owners and their happy-go-lucky dog make this spot feel like a place you want to return to.
